Every personalised piece at Raamae is made to order — your baby's/kid's name is hand-embroidered by our artisans in our signature font, specifically for you. This is what makes it truly personal — and truly one of a kind.

Because each piece is created exclusively for you, we begin personalising the order only after the order is fully/partially paid. 

How Personalised Orders Work


Placing Your Order

When placing a personalised order, you will be asked to enter the name. The additional charge for the personalisation will reflect accordingly for 1-10 letters and 11-20 letters.

This name is exactly what our artisans will embroider onto your piece. Please double-check the spelling before placing your order — once personalisation has begun, changes cannot be made.

Confirming Your Order

For personalised orders placed on Cash on Delivery, we ask that they either be converted to pre-paid or a token payment (₹1000 per piece) be paid before our artisans begin work. 

This is because each piece is made exclusively for you — once it is embroidered with your baby's/kid's name, it cannot be reassigned or returned to stock.

The token is not an additional charge. It is a part of your total order amount, paid upfront to confirm the personalised piece. The remaining balance is collected in cash at the time of delivery — exactly as you would expect from a standard COD order.

Raamae happily accepts Cash on Delivery for all non-personalised orders. The token is required only for personalised, made-to-order pieces.

Delivery Timeline

Personalised orders are usually in high demand due to which they typically may take up to 7-10 days to deliver. Our artisans begin as soon as your order is confirmed — so the sooner we hear from you, the sooner your piece is on its way.

If you need your order by a specific date,

  • select prepaid payment method only and not cash on delivery
  • select express shipping at checkout
  • and leave us a note with your order with the required date
  • or message us right after placing your order

We recommend choosing a prepaid payment method at checkout. Prepaid orders have fewer touch points in the delivery process, making coordination smoother and delivery faster and efficient.

Sundays and public holidays are not counted as business days for delivery.

Payment Options

We want this to be as easy and comfortable as possible for you. Here are your options:

Pay a Token Now, Rest on DeliveryPay ₹1,000 per personalised piece now for us to begin personalisation. The remaining balance is paid in cash when your order is delivered. 

We do not recommend this if you need your order by a specific date as cash on delivery have more touch points in the delivery process, making coordination challenging and delaying delivery.
Pay the Full Amount If you'd prefer to pay the full amount at once, we will send you a QR code or a secure Razorpay payment link on WhatsApp/email. Quick, easy, and fully secure.
Receive Without Personalisation on COD If you'd prefer not to make any advance payment, you can choose to receive the item without personalisation on Cash on Delivery. Please note embroidery cannot be added after the order is shipped/delivered

Why do I need to pay anything before I receive my order?

Is the token amount an extra charge on top of my order?

No. The token is part of your total order amount — not an additional fee. If your order is ₹6,000 and you have two personalised piece in your order, token is ₹2,000 (₹1000 per piece), you pay ₹2,000 now and ₹4,000 on delivery. The total remains exactly the same.

What does the embroidery look like?

The personalisation is hand-embroidered by our artisans — a careful, detailed process done with quality thread on our artisan-made pieces.
