Today, in an era where environmental awareness is more crucial than ever, it is imperative for businesses to acknowledge their impact on the environment.

While we cannot achieve 100% sustainability, we are committed to creating a better future through our sustainable/eco-friendly practices.

For us, sustainability means meeting our current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

We achieve this through a range of specific practices.

Using natural and azo-free dyes in our fabric production, treating waste water, upcycling leftover fabric into new products, and composting are a few specific examples of our efforts to impact the planet positively.

Use of natural and azo-free dyes

We use natural and azo-free dyes to block print our fabrics. Azo-free dyes do not contain harmful and toxic chemicals, making them skin-friendly and eco-friendly.

As a valued and conscious consumer, you are crucial to our sustainability journey. The next time you purchase a digital, screen, or hand-printed product, we encourage you to inquire about the dyes used.

Your curiosity and engagement directly contribute positively to the planet.

Reducing water footprint by treating waste water with ETP

It is no longer a mystery that the textile industry creates millions of litres of waste water in its production process.

We make our products in a facility with an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). This plant treats the waste water generated by the fabric's washing, dyeing, and bleaching process, removing harmful substances and making the water reusable for production or before being released back into nature.

This system ensures that we minimise our water footprint and contribute to water conservation.

Upcycling leftover fabric

We collect leftover fabric until the last bit and upcycle to make journals, tote bags, headbands, and scrunchies, which comprise 40% of our total collection.

The remaining fabric scraps, which are not enough to make usable products, are sent to a nearby facility for further processing and turned into paper.

Composting

We reduce and compost food waste and use it as a natural fertiliser for plants in our homes, offices, and warehouses. Sometimes, the composted soil/liquid is more than enough for us, so we share it with our community, fostering a culture of eco-gifting and inspiring others to adopt sustainable practices.

Summary

We continually look for opportunities to have a more significant ecological impact and make mindful decisions daily. Our goal is to create value by thinking about solutions, accepting and highlighting problems as they are, and working on finding solutions.

We choose to tell you this because it is your right, as a conscious consumer, to know before you decide to buy from us. We do not only do this for us. We do it for you, too, to shop consciously and mindfully.
